Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actor best recognized for her role as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy show that ran between 2015 and current. Her previous work was recognized as the character of a 13-year-old Lebanese-American girl Jasira Maroun, who is undergoing tumultuous personal experiences in set against the backdrop of the U.S. war in Iraq during the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. The film was later chosen as one of Variety's Top 10 actors to watch in 2007. The 2009 movie Crossing Over, in which she played the strong role of Taslima Jhangir she was nominated by the Independent Spirit Award as the leading female in the film. She has also acted in films such as the Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and was a guest on several role on TV, not to mention being the co-lead of Lucky 7.
